What's that, adulthood?

This article about Ivanka Trump's NYC apartment in an ago issue of Instyle from a million years ago still tops my list of all time favorite lifestyle inspirations. And I still think about it, even five year later. In 2007, I was fresh out of grad school, had just moved to DC, and was charting my own little path through the world. I looked at this article and dreamed about the day that I too would sip morning tea in my adorable nightgown while gliding down my living room wall on my library ladder. Ivanka meets Breakfast at Tiffany's.

Five years later, my dreams have evolved considerably and I'm starting to feel like they might just be achievable (what's that, adulthood? You snuck up on me), but this apartment inspiration still holds top ranking on my list. The library ladder is still on the wishlist, but I did upgrade my teacups:

  1. You have a very nice and well-organized home office furniture NYC. It entices me to sit down and stay there for the whole day and just read books.

  2. It is nice to have a inspiration when you design your own room. You have to keep a certain theme or inspiration to make it look all good together. shoji screen

  3. I agree with Melissa, it is good to have an inspiration. Although I prefer to be more original on doing your style and design. What is important is that you like your place that you when get tired seeing your home every time you go back there. wicker outdoor furniture

  4. There are architectural house plans online and on magazines that could really give you ideas on how you would decorate and arrange your apartment depending on what experts think is right but if you have a unique taste on these things, it is indeed better to follow your heart. I like how it is advised to not work when arranging your apartment, instead do it with your free will so you would like the result.
