Spotted on the streets of Louisville, KY where I tried on some southern hospitality for size this week. When it comes to garden urns there is no such thing as too big in my mind.

Spotted and Loved: Market Bags

Spotted over on This is Glamorous, this market bag would be a permanent staple for my weekly trips to the farm stand. Vinyl lined with a flat bottom and sturdy leather handles for practicability. Rustic canvas and a industrial stamp for coolness . And a good cause to boot.

Quite possibly maybe, I love this bag because it reminds me of the old-fashioned classic Klein's Tool bag that I have always had a weak spot for. I have a vintage edition passed down from my Grandfather that I use as a carry on and love like crazy.

Dreamy Office Tour

Do you read the lovely blog by the gals at Southern Weddings Magazine? Yes, you do...well then you already know how absolutely fabulous they are. No? Then you are missing out.

Not only do I love the daily inspiration of all things southern and chic, but they have the 100% most D-R-E-A-M-Y office space I've ever seen. I first saw this post 6 months ago on Brooklyn Bride, and I still think about it on a regular basis. Take a look for yourself:

Thursday Tabletop: Yellow Depression Glass Dinner Party

I don't know if it's the sunshine or the season, but yellow seems to be the color craze of the moment. Poking around some antique shops last weekend, I came across gobs and gobs of yellow depression glass and wanted to buy every single piece. Slightly delicate and vintage, yet of the moment in the most pale yellow color.

I didn't buy any (and here I sit one week later kicking myself for it, or course!), but I just might since I realized that Ebay has an abundance available at good prices. A new (old/new?) set would be the perfect inspiration for a dinner party.

Mixed in with touches of gold, the yellow glass would really stand out. I don't know what it is about me and napkin rings, but we don't get along. A mismatched group of vintage gold cuffs would be much more my style-and guests could take them home as a gift! Check my box off for reduce, reuse, recycle!

A Moment to Pause

The dearly beloved blogger Marija from Holding Court was tragically killed in a car accident over the weekend. Her husband wrote a heart breaking and beautiful post in the face of such blinding pain.

Thank you to Marija for the beautiful energy and creativity that you put out into this world and the reminder to slow down, pause and remember what's truly important.

Shop Talk: Shaken or Stirred at The Hour

Last week I stopped in a shop in Old Town devoted to all things cocktail. Vintage barware sets galore left me gawking in every single direction, like a kid in a spiked candy store:

Home Color Du Jour

People who drive in cars with me hide their face in embarrassment when I suddenly turn into a real estate-stalkerati and swerve to the side of the road to snap camera phone pictures of strangers houses.

Case in point: This adorable and so of the moment gray and yellow house I spotted in Old Town last week.

T&D Wedding Inspiration

Yes, I shamelessly read trashy gossip magazines whenever I get my hands on them because I can't bring myself to buy them. So I'm sometimes 2-4 weeks behind in all my celebrity gossip.

I fell head over heels hard in love with this cake when I saw it. I think it's the cake equivalent of painting 1 wall in a really cool black color.

Turns out it was the cake for celebs Tori & Dean's vow renewal (which I also shamelessly watch on demand while cleaning). It also turns out the event was full of some amazing details that didn't translate to tv. Kiss the Groom featured these pictures of the highlights:

This was a detail that I caught when the show air and loved. It's an old fashioned type writer that was set up at a desk (with ghost chair to boot) in front of a wall of family pictures for guests to type out little love notes to the happy couple.
