Attention Kmart Shoppers

I love this look from Lucky for spring. It's colorful but not pastel-y, simple yet stunning (the shoes don't so much do it for me, but other than that). So I set out to recreate it for myself.

Now, I consider myself an open minded style girl. I love to pull things out of flea market bins just as much as upscale boutiques. But I was stunned, STUNNED, when my internet search returned this....

Yes, as in twelve dollars (on sale). Maybe I've been too hard on Kmart all these years, shunning them as the non-Target with not even the good Martha Stewart wears to keep them stylish anymore. It may be time to reconsider the blue light specials...
Tie Neck Jacket, $4.99 (Yes, I pay more than that for coffee too)

  2. So disappointed. I went to my local K-Mart and they were nearly sold out of everything cute; such good deals I suppose nobody could pass them up! I loved that black and white jacket, but the description online in inaccurate, it is not lined which makes it hard to get on and off (especially when all they have left is a small). boo-hoo-hoo

  3. Aww...what a bummer. I sometimes make a day of going to all the Target stores in my area (I'm lucky there are lots of them) to scoop up all the cute designer items that sell out so quickly. And you gotta love online shopping!

  4. I hope you managed to pick-up all the great Alexander McQueen at Target.

  6. I admit these look nice, but I still can't get myself to go into KMart. I would be cheating on my first love, Target.

  7. Ahh...that's so funny. I always same the same thing about TJ Maxx! I can never go into Marshalls or Ross or any of the other similar stores because I always say I'm in a committed relationship with TJ! Too funny.
