Light up my life

I've been searching for some new lighting for my home for a while. I think that lighting can be one of the most challenging pieces to add to your room just for the sheer volume of choices that you have to weed through to get to the good stuff. I also don't want to spend a small fortune, just to have flattering light. Here's a round up of what I've found so far.

1 Light Table Lamp in Natural Finish from the Mary-Kate and Ashley line (yes, that Mary-Kate and Ashley) ($81)

1 Light Table Lamp in Chrome Finish (also by our fav Full House duo). I'm infatuated with black shades these days. They give the softest glow, especially when reflecting off a metallic base like this one. ($106)

This Mini Punch Lantern from Urban Outfitters would look great in a cluster of 3 or juxtaposed with another more traditional option. For $12, you could line your walkway or patio with them and move them inside to a staircase during the winter.

The Capiz Table Lamp in Smoke is a nice boxy alternative to all the round, round round. ($41.99)

This Glass Table Lamp has just a hint of green tint and a nice balanced gourd shape. ($34.99)

This Stoneware Table Lamp brings a nice pop of green and I love the glazed effect with the different tones. ($48.99)
The Coco Swag Lamp in Natural is an amazingly sleep pendant and would class up any kitchen. ($55)

I love the combination of the textured shade and clear glass base of the Nydia Clear Glass Table Lamp With Cream Fabric Shade. ($39)
The Chrome Trumpet Table Lamp is an updated look on a retro shape and would look great on a desk of a nightstand. ($24)

The Weathered Copper Hammered Metal Accent Lamp encompases all my favorite in lighting. Texture, check, Good contrast of color, check, interesting shape, check. ($23)

The organic shape on the Brushed Steel Tripod Floor Lamp would look great in an ultra traditional room. ($54)
